Research and Development Centre

China Sunsine’s R&D Center is recognized by the Shandong Provincial Government for its sustained innovation in manufacturing systems, management and technology, and is certified by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation (“CPCIF”). The center attracts and nurtures talents and has secured 35 national patents.

Objectives

Our research and development activities focus mainly on:

  • expanding our product range of rubber accelerators and other related rubber chemicals as well as some of its raw materials through the development of new products so as to cater to our customers’ demands;
  • improving our production processes so as to increase production efficiency, promote environmental friendliness and reduce costs;
    improving the quality of our existing products; and
  • improving our wastewater treatment facilities and waste gas recycling facilities to reduce wastage and pollutants produced during the production.

Throughout the years, we have, through our own research and development and through collaboration with our collaboration parties, successfully increased our product range through development of new products and improved production process of our products. For example, we successfully developed a new product, insoluble sulphur, which we intend to commence production by the end of FY2007.

Academician R&D Workstation

On December 14th, more than 130 renowned academicians and experts gathered in Heze City (or the head office of China Sunsine Chmical in Shanxian, Heze City) to attend “Smart China, Accelerating Industrial Transformation and Upgrading” activities in Heze city. They represented 13 research institutes of the China Academy of Sciences, Tsinghua University, Shandong University and Shandong Academy of Sciences and another 42 institutions of higher learning. The opening ceremony was graced by Mr Xie Weijun, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Heze City, who delivered a speech.
